Building Codes and Plans

The department is responsible for administering the Building Codes for construction and remodeling projects within the jurisdiction of the Town of Lowell. Permits enable the Town to enforce provisions of the Building Code. These codes provide a minimum standard for the protection of life, health, property and public welfare.
